Chicken Pasta Pesto

What You'll Need:

1 (16 oz) package of penne pasta
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 ¼ cups cream
¼ cup pesto
3 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into thin strips

Preparation:

Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Meanwhile, over medium heat, heat olive oil and butter in a skillet and sauté chicken pieces and garlic until the chicken is almost done. Reduce heat and add cream, pesto and Parmesan cheese. Stir well and season with salt and pepper. Continue cooking until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink inside. Add the drained pasta. Toss and serve immediately.
